NEW YEAR, NEW YOU

NEW YEAR, NEW YOU

If your mantra so far this year has been “new year, new you,” it is time to apply it to your hair. As Coco Chanel said, “A women who cuts her hair is about to change her life,” so here is your chance to change yours and open a new chapter in your life.

New hairstyles are all the rage right now. It doesn’t matter what sort of hairstyle strikes your fancy – from the lob to fringes and bangs, there are so many short hairstyles that are in right now that you can choose from.

Here are some of our favorites to choose from:

The Lob

The lob is one cut that somehow is flattering on every hair type and face shapes. It is perfect for someone who can’t decide between a long or a short cut, but they still want something new that is trendy. It stays popular throughout the years thanks to how easy it is to style. Celebrities like Emilia Clarke and Sienna Miller have all famously worn the lob. Combine your new hair cut with Rene Fris’ Anti-Frizz Cleanser and Conditioner to get a smooth new ‘do.

Side Swoop

This look screams confidence, and is easier to mimic then you might think! All you have to do is brush-out a wave that you created with a curling iron to add a retro feel to the deep side part. You can wear this every day to work or on a date because it looks good no matter where you are!

Pixie Cut

The Pixie, recently rocked by Cardi B at the 2018 MTC Video Music awards, is another throwback style that can still feel completely fresh. Other celebrities to flaunt a pixie cut include Emma Watson, Ruby Rose, Natalie Portman, and dozens and dozens of others. There is a reason why celebrities love to cut their hair short. The dramatic change is fun and exciting and gives your look a completely new feel. Paired with Rene Fris’ Styling Matte Paste, you can get the perfect tousled or sleek look every time.

Big Loose Curls with Volume

A shorter look with huge curls like Viola Davis can add crazy amounts of volume to hair. This show-stopper of a look is extremely flattering if someone is growing out really short hair to a bob or a lob. You can use a curling iron to get you this classic look.

CLOSED-CROPPED SIDES

Take your pixie cut to the next level by putting your hair into the cropped sides look. This look has been making its rounds the last couple of years, and it is easy to see why. The sophisticated take on the undercut gives you length on top so you can still style it as you want. Tilda Swinton rocks this look by adding a bit of a curl to add more dimension to her classic look.

NATURAL TWIST OUT

This is a gorgeous look that allows your natural hair to shine, The twisted look allows your face to take the center stage. It looks professional and sophisticated and is a great way to switch things up this new year.

Remember, New Year, New You. It’s time to make some changes, but first, let’s start with your hair!.
